BrainBloom: Holistic ADHD Neurodevelopment & Wellness Program

This program targets ADHD students aged between 8 to 12 from low-income families by providing equal treatment opportunities with an aim to foster familial harmony. Evidence-based intervention strategies, including neuro-cognitive training, behavior management, physical activities, and integrated medicine will be applied.

Social Problem

  • Low-income families face insurmountable barriers in accessing Special Educational Needs (SEN) support, a situation exacerbated as children transition from preschool to primary education. The prohibitive costs and lengthy wait times for diagnosis, leading to children with ADHD cannot get timely treatment they need

Social Innovation

  • Offers holistic ADHD programme design for family as a unit, which is an unique approach in the market
  • Outcome based financing (OBF) as a mechanism to source sustainable funding for low income families. As an approach that allows more innovative solutions to be implemented directly, by the financial risk sharing factor

Expected Social Impact

  • Recruit 200 parents with targeted beneficiary segment child for initial recruitment seminars
  • Conduct 4 seminars for 100 children and their parents & conduct 100 Moxo Screening – a detailed assessment of attention and concentration
  • 20 eligible children enrolled in the Brainboom program, including neuro-cognitive training, behavior management, physical activities, and integrated medicine
