Social Problem

  • The Thai community is experiencing lower educational attainment and income levels, and therefore Thai youths often face limited access to academic and financial support.
  • Unique challenges in terms of well-being and resilience faced by Thai youths located mainly in Kowloon City are found due to the home relocations and school changes in the next decades.

Social Innovation

  • The project beneficiary group targets Thai youths in the Kowloon City district who have been affected by schools closures or government-led housing relocations.
  • The project integrates drama education and life coaching courses, to create an inclusive environment for Thai youths and help them overcome the challenges of limited development opportunities.

Expected Social Impact

  • Providing regular drama education and life coaching sessions to 30 Thai youths.
  • Offering coaching sessions to parents of Thai youths, equipping them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their children’s academic journey and parenting skills.
  • Co-creating an end-of-class sharing sessions with Thai youths to showcase the results of drama education to the public.
