SocialCare-Pilot Project on Community Mobile Health Check Vehicle Service

The project aims to provide mobile health check examinations to low-income families living in remote areas and to address the problem of insufficient primary healthcare services in the community.

Social Problem

  • Low-income families and elders living in remote areas are not receiving adequate primary healthcare due to poverty and lack of access to social medical resources.

Social Innovation

  • Traditional medical examination centers are usually fixed at specific locations, while the project arranges community mobile medical examination vehicles can flexibly travel to different remote communities
  •  The project features a mobile app for some residents who can make good use of smart phones that allows them to more conveniently book mobile medical examination vehicle services, service dates and locations, view personal medical examination reports, receive health advice and reminders, community health information
  • Artificial intelligence technology is applied to establish an automated physical examination analysis model

Expected Social Impact

  • Provide mobile medical examination services to 600 people in remote areas, including 480 low-income people and 120 members of general public
  • Organize 6 small community health talks, with a total of 180 low-income people or grassroots elders expected to participate
  • Provide internship opportunities for 4 current medical students
  • Recruit 6 middle-aged and elderly people to serve as community volunteers
