This project focuses on empowering ethnic minority youths aged 15-19 by EM KOL Youth Program, EM Performance Competition, EMME team brand development and promotion, and EM Sports Community.

Social Problem

  • The new generation of ethnic minorities has become one of the vulnerable groups in employment
  • Ethnic minorities have been unable to integrate into the mainstream of Hong Kong for many years, and thus making it very difficult for ethnic minorities to learn Chinese, and Hong Kong people have limited understanding of ethnic minority languages, creating an invisible distance

Social Innovation

  • Through sports projects and activities, we can not only promote social integration and multicultural exchanges, but also allow ethnic minorities to establish positive interactions and connections with other communities.
  • Establishing community sports culture can also promote social and economic development and increase employment opportunities and types

Expected Social Impact

  • Provide 20 hours of KOL training classes to 60 ethnic minority youths to improve their professional skills
  • Selecte 30 young people from ethnic minorities with excellent skills and experience through a competition to directly join the EMME team
  • Conduct work or on-the-job training with 148 ethnic minority youths
  • Produce and broadcasted 13 episodes of radio program content
  • Operate online platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc., and publish at least 96 promotional contents in total
  • Organize Four workshops in communities and businesses
